My Leadership Goals

  1. Develop and implement the Election Act - community driven

  2. Increase Council from 6 to 8 for next election as 6 is not enough

  3. Lands use policy, land laws, community approved

  4. Protection of our Treaty & Inherent Rights

  5. Support for addictions, mental health & trauma

  6. Implement quarterly band meetings

  7. TLE & Specific Claims inclusion, quarterly updates to all membership

  8. Director of Governance / Governance Consultant

  9. Chief & Council mandates with inclusion of all Council

  10. Administration roles & responsibilities more accountable to membership

  11. Chief & Council minutes must be adopted and available to membership

  12. Lake reort 10 years strategic plan, other short term & long term plans to the Nation with membership inclusion

  13. Take away corporate board from Chief & Council and post immediately for members

  14. Post for all committees in needed areas ASAP

  15. Compliance Officer for band laws & policies

  16. Peace keepers / warrior society as needed

  17. Human Resources officer needed

  18. Major investments to be communicated to the membership for community input before decisions are made

  19. Elders yards to be maintained, homes checked on regular basis

  20. Utilize urban representatives not only for Christmas but as main liaisons in the cities
